Setting up your KnowFlow account
Follow these steps to get started with KnowFlow and create your first AI assistant.1
Create an account
Sign up for a KnowFlow account at app.knowflow.in.
You can sign up with your email.

Create a organization
After logging in, you’ll be prompted to create your first organization.
- Enter a name for your organization
- Add a brief description
- Invite team members (optional)

Create a knowledge base
Next, create your first knowledge base to store information:
- Go to the Knowledge Bases section in the sidebar
- Click Create Knowledge Base
- Enter a name and description
- Click Create

Add knowledge sources
You can import information from multiple sources:
Upload Documents
Upload Documents
- Select your knowledge base
- Click Add Sources → Upload Document
- Select and upload your files (PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD formats supported)
- The system will automatically process and index your documents
Custom QA Pairs
Custom QA Pairs
- Select your knowledge base
- Click Add Sources → Custom QA Pairs
- Add custom Question & Answer pairs
- The system will automatically process and index your QA pairs
Add Website URLs
Add Website URLs
- Select your knowledge base
- Click Add Sources → Website URL
- Enter the website URL you want to index
- Set crawling options (depth, page limits, etc.)
- Click Add
Add GitHub Issues
Add GitHub Issues
- Select your knowledge base
- Click Add Sources → GitHub
- Enter repository details (owner/repo format)
- Configure indexing options
- Click Connect

Create an AI integration
Now that your knowledge base is ready, create an AI integration:
- Go to the Integrations section in the sidebar
- Click Create Integration
- Choose the integration type (Web Chat, Discord Bot, etc.)
- Enter name and description
- Select the knowledge base(s) to connect
- Configure appearance and behavior settings
- Click Create

Deploy your integration
Deploy your newly created integration where your users need help:
Web Chat

- Go to your integration in the Integrations section
- Navigate to the Embed tab
- Copy the provided JavaScript snippet
- Paste it into your website’s HTML before the closing
</body>tag
Discord Bot
Discord Bot
- Go to your integration in the Integrations section
- Navigate to the Discord tab
- Follow the instructions to connect your Discord server
- Set channel permissions and bot behavior

- Go to your integration in the Integrations section
- Navigate to the Slack tab
- Click Connect to Slack
- Follow the authorization steps
- Select channels where the bot should operate
